** *NUTRIENT OUTFLOWS FROM EUCALYPTUS -- *Last month**Hem Raj
Bist**wrote, "/I need to //calculate nutrient outflows from Eucalyptus
camaldulensis. In need to know: //1) dry wt and wet weight ratio (
moisture content) of bark of E. camaldulensis or how much green bark
reduces in terms of weight when oven dried: 2) density of green bark:
i.e ....Kg/cu. m. (wt/vol); 3) wet weight to dry weight ratio of wood of
E. camaldulensis. Density I know, but wt reduction % when green wood
(wt) is oven dried. Also for leaf ( I have my own estimation though);
4). Accurate biomass and volume equaiton (allometric equation suitable
for Nepal) for E. camaldulensis and teak (one by TISC in Nepal has
limited coverage in dbh)."/Here are some sites that may be of interest.
