Some Other Good Things

*BUT FIRST WON'T YOU PLEASE HELP? Inventorying stands during a project
analysis -- *Davis Mounger is seeking Any directives, cases, etc. about
FS (US Forest Service) needs to update and ground truth stands in
analysis before an EA (Environmental Analysis). He also needs anything
about projects as time for updating forest inventory. Davis is m pretty
sure there's some language in the FSM (Forest Service Manual) on this,
but he cannot find it. He writes, mistakes in forest type, BA (basal
area) age are all common down here. If you can assist, please contact
Davis at wdmounger at yahoo.com <mailto:wdmounger at yahoo.com>

*SMALL BIOMASS GREEN WEIGHT TO DRY WEIGHT CONVERSION *-- Last February,
Shiva Shankar Pandey wrote, /I am wondering to find conversion factors
to estimate dry biomass from the fresh Biomass of the trees (less than 5
cm Diameter at breast height). If you have idea and information about
research reports, articles, thesis related to some regression models or
conversion factors applicable to the mixed species forest stand of
Nepal, please kindly inform me./ Here are some sites that may be of
interest. If you know of others, please contact Shiva at
