*FOREST FRAGMENTS -- *Many years ago, the USDA Forest Service had a
newsletter called 'Timber Tips'. This was a very informal publication
that carried short tips on how to improve field and office work. Such a
tip was how to determine where north is while in the field without a
compass. If you have a watch, point the hour hand towards the sun. The
north-south line will generally lie halfway between the hour hand and 12
o'clock.
This Forest Fragment section of is intended to serve a similar purpose.
Therefore I am seeking any techniques you may have on improving field,
office or even daily routines that I can share with fellow list members.
Any suggestions you submit should be short (preferably around a
paragraph, but no longer than one page. Please include a short title of
your suggestion, your name and email address with your submission.
*Once again Happy New Year and Pay It Forward/-- Cheers, Gyde/*
